Children's Ministry

Welcome to OBC Kid’s Ministry. We are about loving God, fellowshipping with other believers, sharing the Gospel and serving others. We believe it is important for kids to have a strong biblical foundation so we are here to partner with families as they lead their kids to know Christ, giving the families resources and encouragement.

***Weekly Gatherings***

Each week at OBC Kids we study scripture and meet in classes according to grade. OBC kids is for 1^st-6^th graders. We also have a place for preschoolers (babies through kindergarten) and youth (7^th-12^th grades). 

Sunday School 9:00-10:00 We study the bible using a Christ centered curriculum. Each lesson points to Jesus and is designed to transform hearts from the truth of the gospel.  We study the bible in chronological order, helping the kids to understand the whole story of God. The kids hear the gospel of Christ each and every week through our lessons and activities.

Kids Blitz-Wednesday nights we meet in the Family Life Center from 6:30-7:30. This is a time of fellowship, bible reading and studying with small group and high energy activities.

***OBC Kids Mission***

We want to follow Christ example and teaching in the following ways:

K-Know the only true God and that Jesus is our Lord and Savior.  And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. John 17:3

I-Interact with other believers who love God. Jesus says, “For where two or three gathers in my name, there am I with them. Matthew 18:20

D-Disciple making as we study scripture and develop a strong biblical worldview. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28: 19-20

S-Serving others as Christ is our true example of being a servant of God.  “The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve.” (Mark 10:45)

Weekly Schedule
