Romans 6:8-14

Three Principles

 1.   _____________________ my new identity.

“For you were buried with Christ when you were baptized. And with Him you were raised to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead.” Colossians 2:12 (NLT)

 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” II Corinthians 5:17 (ESV)

 2.   ______________________my new identity.

“Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:11 (NKJV)

“In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.” Romans 6:11 (NIV)

“So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.” Romans 6:11 (ESV)
