HOW TO PREPARE MY HEART
- Ask God to open my eyes.
“Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law.” Psalm 119: 18 (CSB)
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.” James 1: 5 (CSB)
2. Seek God with a humble heart.
“He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble His way.” Psalm 25:9 (CSB)
3. Turn from all known sin.
“But the one who hates his brother or sister is in the darkness, walks in the darkness, and doesn’t know where he’s going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.” I John 2:11 (CSB)
4. Commit to do what God says.
“The one who has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. And the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father. I also will love him and will reveal Myself to him.” John 14:21 (CSB)
